Chi for Two® Practices on YouTube

While Dee Wagner, LPC, BC-DMT, RSME, is the originator of Chi for Two®—The Energetic Dance of Healthy Relationship, Caroline helped to co-develop Chi for Two while consulting with Dee over many years while working as a movement educator and later as a psychotherapist.

With an appreciation for nervous system science, attachment theory, and multi-generational trauma patterning, Chi for Two offers 40 body-based practices:

  • 35 of these relational practices are for dyadic dances with built-in power authority (ex: therapist/client, parent/child, etc.)

  • 5 of these relational practices are for dyads with power equality (ex: romantic couples)

For more information about the synthesis of Chi for Two and to read about how Chi for Two might be similar to other trauma healing modalities, visit ChiforTwo.com.

Interested in seeing Chi for Two in action? Dee and Caroline had fun creating a taste of Chi for Two while demonstrating a few practices on our YouTube channel.

Note how we we describe these practices as relational and developmental as well as point out these particular dyadic dances as having power differentials. The sample Chi for Two practices you’ll see include:

  • Patty Cake - a Chi for Two Practice

  • Knowing No - a Chi for Two Practice

  • Push - a Chi for Two Practice

  • Bite/Snap Caught by The Mother - a Chi for Two Practice

  • Bite/Snap Caught by The Self - a Chi for Two Practice
