“The doors to the world of the wild are few but precious. If you have a deep scar, that is a door, if you have an old, old story, that is a door. If you love the sky and the water so much you almost cannot bear it, that is a door. If you yearn for a deeper life, a full life, a sane life, that is a door.” - Clarissa Pinkola Estés, Women Who Run With the Wolves
Meet your coaches Caroline Gebhardt, RSME/T, and Nick Gebhardt, both certified Chi for Two® embodiment coaches, who also happen to be romantic partners. 💚
Nick offers a mix of life coaching, creative business coaching, parent coaching and wellness coaching, helping people move energy within their bodies in ways that ultimately improve their lives. With a history in business and sports, Nick has a useful understanding of playful competition in the creative process. Nick has a unique perspective of how to go from busy-ness to embodiment. He shows people how to take better care of themselves through movement by focusing on relationships, because relationships affect our nervous system functioning.
On occasion Nick and Caroline team up to co-lead Chi for Two coaching sessions for romantic partners and parents through their business M-Bodied: Mindful Movement as Mothering Medicine®. And yes, they also team up to co-lead the raising of their children...24 hours a day.
While Dee Wagner, LPC, BC-DMT, MSME/T, is the originator of Chi for Two, Caroline helped to co-develop Chi for Two while consulting with Dee over many years while working as a movement educator and later as a psychotherapist.
With an appreciation for nervous system science, attachment theory, and multi-generational trauma patterning, Chi for Two offers 40 body-based practices:
35 of these relational practices are for dyadic dances with built-in power authority (ex: therapist/client, parent/child, etc.)
5 of these relational practices are for dyads with power equality (ex: romantic couples)
