Wondering how to have less overwhelm while parenting feisty toddlers or testy teens or something in between? Do you yearn for neuroaffirming support for you and your children?
Using early relational co-regulation practices from the multi-generational trauma healing method Chi for Two®, M-Bodied Parenting helps parents to explore behaviors-as-communication and reactions-as-information in an effort to reclaim healthy connection, communication and playfulness.
From womb-to-walking-and-beyond, children depend on primary attachment figure(s) to provide the Circle of Support for healthy relational connection and eventual individuation.
From womb-to-walking-and-beyond, children ideally explore developmental movement expressions to grow physically, cognitively, emotionally and socially.
M-Bodied Parenting explores early relational and developmental movement expression of both connection and separation that can sometimes overwhelm parents & caregivers. When parents and caregivers are more informed about how to support movement expression within themselves as well as in their children that is developmentally normal or perhaps laced with trauma response, the parent-child dance becomes easier and deeper nourishment can be met for everyone.
